White Rice Fish
Content: At a local craft and art fair, where I sold my comics and zines, I got asked the question "Are you local?" As someone Chinese, the question struck me by surprise because my ethnicity is visible on the surface, that I'm foreign to some extend.
That question has prompted me to think about my origins. So I drew a bunch of illustrations about the childhood that I have been through in Hong Kong, where I was born and raised, and then organized them into an illustration zine.
As much as it's an Asian childhood, there is something universal for everyone because we were all kids.
